data collection for eTHANKS project
During the process of credating a User Account you will not be required to provide any information regarding your identity. You may use any account name that you wish so as to remain anonymous. You will be asked to answer a few questions that enable us to track the kinds of users that are participating in the Training Moudles. In addition, there will be some questions that ask you to provide an e-mail address and secret question information that might enable you to recover a lost password. In no way will this information ever be used to contact you or be used in an attempt to identify you.
When you provide snswers to the Key Points and the Review items in the Training Modules, that information is recorded to and stored in the eTHANKS database. We track your progress so that you may know where you are in the modules and we track answers so that we may assess the validity of the Training Modules.
The eTHANKS Training Modules and web site are part of the eTHANKS Research Project. The records and results will be kept confidential in accordance with federal and state statutes. All records in the database will be coded and never associated with your name or identity. All raw data will be securely stored. All information collected will be considered confidential.
